The Attic Theatre

The Attic Theatre is an intimate 80‑seat studio venue housed within a beautifully preserved 15th‑century listed timber‑yard building in the heart of Stratford‑upon‑Avon. Many original architectural features, including exposed beams, remain in place and contribute to the theatre’s distinctive character and atmosphere.

Getting Here

The theatre is located beside the River Avon within the Cox’s Yard complex, directly opposite the Stratford-upon-Avon Tourist Information Office. Its central position makes it easily accessible on foot and well connected to local transport links.

The nearest parking facility is the Bridgeway Multi‑Storey Car Park, just a 2‑minute walk from the theatre.

Cox’s Yard offers a range of dining and refreshment options, including a pub, restaurant, and café. Visitors can enjoy one of Stratford’s most attractive riverside beer gardens, with picturesque views of the River Avon.

Drinks purchased from the bar may be brought into the theatre. Pre‑theatre dining is available for most performances; please contact Cox’s Yard directly to make a reservation.
