Event Information

A New One-Man Show by Jonsel Gourkan
I’ve Lived A Bit is a raw, darkly funny and brutally honest one-man show written and performed by actor, former professional footballer, popstar and Type 1 diabetes advocate Jonsel Gourkan.
Blending theatrical storytelling, sharp observational comedy and deeply personal experiences, the show explores fame, identity, heartbreak, addiction, mental health, modern culture and rebuilding your life when everything appears to fall apart.
From affairs and ambulances to showbusiness, social media, grief and surviving Type 1 diabetes, I’ve Lived A Bit takes audiences through the chaos, humour and humanity of a life lived fully  and sometimes recklessly.
Equal parts funny, reflective and unfiltered, the show offers an honest portrait of masculinity, vulnerability and modern life, delivered with charisma, theatricality and biting humour.
Jonsel previously wrote and toured his own successful one-man production independently for two years, alongside a varied career spanning television, music, professional sport, writing and advocacy.
Part theatre. Part stand-up. Part public breakdown.
